Representing the University of Zakho’s College of Medicine, the Dean of the College, Dr. Nawfal R. Hussein, and the Department Rapporteur, Dr. Farhad Shakir, participated in the Second International Medical Kurdistan Conference of the School of Medicine (SoM) at the University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH). The conference took place on February 28 and continued until March 1, 2024, in Erbil, and was attended by scientists, clinicians, researchers, students, and health-related staff from Iraq and all over the world. Moreover, the dean and rapporteur of the UoZ’s College of Medicine were accompanied by three remarkable students, namely Sulav R. Abdulqadir, Hajar H. Abdulqadir, and Racheen S. Haji, who presented three different research projects throughout the conference. It is noteworthy that this conference was an opportunity to allow the participants to share their research findings and discuss the latest developments and innovations in clinical and preclinical medical science across all fields.
